This study explores the work of Gibran Khalil Gibran, a pioneer in modernizing Arabic literature whose writing draws on Arab, biblical, Eastern, and Western cultural traditions. It examines three key features of his work: the bildungsroman, prophetic writing, and the blending of literary genres.
