Rana Samir born in 1995, Rana Samir graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University, in 2018. Although she primarily uses illustrations in her work, she also explores and experiments with other media including ready-mades, crafts, and video.
She finds a great deal of inspiration in her own life experiences and events, past and present, surroundings and different places, and is genuinely inspired by the concept of collecting and building personal collections Rana took part in numerous group shows in Germany and Egypt, including "The Girls Windows III" by Ubuntu Gallery, the 28th and 30th Youth Salon, "Nights with Rodents" by Arcade Gallery and "The Blue Hippo Project" by Art D'Egypte, the 2nd Egypt International Art Fair, and the “3031 Art Festival" in Darb 1718.
She participated in “Informal City Park", a project between Egyptian and German artists, which was displayed at the a&o kunsthalle, Leipzig, Germany.
